Pusha T – King Push (June 30th)

Pusha T, one half of the 2000’s duo Clipse, is a rapper signed to Kanye West’s GOOD Music Label. King Push will be his third Studio Album. His first album “My Name is my Name” was met with huge critical and popular acclaim. In December of 2015 he released “Darkest Before Dawn”, which is supposed to serve as a prelude Screen Shot 2016-06-18 at 12.48.12 PMto the upcoming King Push. “Darkest” was an impressive showing which represented a significant stylistic development in T’s style from his previous record “My Name Is My Name”. Expectations are high and fans eagerly await the next chapter of Pusha T’s career.

The Red Hot Chili Peppers – The Getaway (June 17th)

Famed alternative rock band, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, are releasing their 11th studio album after a 5 years break since 2011’s “I’m With You”. They released the first single to the album, “Dark Necessities”, on May 5th. The single was a huge hit with fans and became the band’s 30th song to make it into the Top 20 songs on the Billboard Charts.

Rae Sremmurd – SremmLife 2 (June 24th)

SremmLife 2 is the follow up to the Atlanta-based duo’s 2015 breakout album SremmLife. Whether you like them for the catchy hooks, their novel take on classic southern trap production, or just their goofy attitudes and ad-libs, you should be prepared for this follow up. The single “Look Alive” certainly heralds strong sonic growth from their last release, and raises hopes that the duo will avoid the infamous sophomore slump.

The Avett Brothers – True Sadness (June 24th)

The Avett Brothers are a popular folk and indie rock band that have been releasing music for almost 15 years. True Sadness, their 9th studio album, was announced by the band on March 3rd. They have released two singles since then, titled “Ain’t no Man” and “True Sadness” which will appear on the new record.

De la Soul is a Hip Hop trio from New York formed in 1987. Their studio debut “3 Feet High and Rising” is widely praised and listed as one of the most formative albums to the New York sound . Their last release was in 2012 with “First Serve” after an 8 year hiatus. “And the Anonymous Nobody” will be the trio’s 9th studio album.

LCD Soundsystem – TBA

World famous electronic rock band LCD Soundsystem has announced that their 4th studio album will be released this year. This was a huge surprise to fans. After the release of their 2010 hit album “This is Happening” the band announced it would be their last album, and even had a concert and a documentary made celebrating an end to the group. The band had been silent up until recently when, after an announcement that they would be headlining Coachella in 2016 the band announced their new album would be coming out sometime this year. Details are vague, but fans are on the edge of their seats waiting for this new album.
